Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files never leave your device. Every tool on QuicklySave runs entirely in your browser — file conversion, OCR, downloading, all of it happens locally in JavaScript. We don't have servers that store your files because we never have a copy in the first place.

What we do collect: anonymous analytics about how the site is used (page views, button clicks, basic device info) and standard server logs. We also display ads provided by Google AdSense, which uses cookies as described below.

What we collect

Files and tool input

When you use one of our tools — converting an image, merging PDFs, extracting text from a screenshot, downloading a video — the file (or URL) is processed entirely in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. We have no way to see what you converted, no log of which files you processed, and no copy of any of your content.

The one exception is our video downloader proxy: when you download a Reddit, Twitter/X, or similar video, our Cloudflare Worker fetches the video bytes on your behalf (because browsers won't let JavaScript fetch from third-party domains directly). The proxy streams the bytes through to your browser but doesn't store them. We don't log URLs you've requested or maintain any record of downloads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, which tools get used, how long people spend on the site. This data is anonymous and aggregated. Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions across pages.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by enabling Do Not Track in your browser settings.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) maintains standard server logs that include the date and time of each request, the page requested, the requesting IP address, and the user agent string. These logs are retained for a limited period and used for security, debugging, and analytics aggregation.

Advertising and cookies

We display ads on some pages of this site (primarily guide articles, not tool pages) using Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to:

• Show ads based on your previous visits to this site or other sites
• Measure ad performance and conversions
• Prevent the same ad from showing repeatedly
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

Google uses an advertising cookie called the DART cookie to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Some third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information
• We don't share data with advertisers beyond the standard cookie-based ad serving described above
• We don't require an account to use any tool on the site
• We don't collect email addresses except when you voluntarily email us
• We don't store the files you process — we never have them in the first place

Children's privacy

QuicklySave is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Right to deletion — request that we delete personal data we hold about you
• Right to opt out — opt out of analytics, advertising cookies, or any other tracking
• Right to portability — receive your data in a portable format

Since we don't store the files you process, most of these rights apply only to server logs and analytics data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@quicklysave.com.

Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Material changes (new categories of data collection, new third-party partners, etc.) will be noted prominently on the homepage for at least 30 days.
